Denver Nuggets Tie Series With 117-90 Win Over Timberwolves
Denver Bounces Back From 0-2 Deficit
Nuggets Even Series at 2-2
The Denver Nuggets evened their Western Conference semifinal series with the Minnesota Timberwolves at 2-2 with a 117-90 victory on Tuesday night.
The Nuggets, who trailed 0-2 in the series, used a 14-2 run to close out the first quarter and take a 29-24 lead. Denver never trailed again and led by as many as 29 points in the second half.
Nikola Jokic led the Nuggets with 26 points, 13 rebounds, and 8 assists. Jamal Murray added 24 points, and Aaron Gordon chipped in with 18 points.
Anthony Edwards led the Timberwolves with 21 points, but he was just 8-of-23 from the field. Karl-Anthony Towns added 18 points and 10 rebounds, but he was just 7-of-19 from the field.
The Nuggets will host the Timberwolves in Game 5 on Thursday night.
